A neighbourhood bar right in the centre of Dénia that since 1997 does what it knows best: old-school almuerzos (the Spanish mid-morning sandwich break) in the morning and tapas, meats and sharing menus at midday.

Our story

Dénia, Montgó, and a good bite

In Valencian, a "mos" is a bite, and a "mosset," a little bite. With that name, we opened in 1997 on Sertorio street, a short walk from the port and the castle: a neighborhood brewery where almuerzo is taken seriously.

Dianium Dénia is born as a Roman city at the foot of Montgó, looking out to sea.
The castle From the top of the city, it watches over the port and the Marina Alta.
1997 El Mosset opens at Sertorio street, 24. The bar fills up by mid-morning from day one.
2015 UNESCO names Dénia Creative City of Gastronomy.
Today 31 sandwiches, 8 menus, Marina tomatoes in season, and the best almuerzos in the area.

 Trustindex verifica que la fuente original de la reseña sea Google. Fui el sábado a almorzar y pedí un bocadillo de jamón “ El macho ibérico” la verdad la calidad de jamón excelente. Ya son varias veces que he ido y hay algo que no me acaba, el pan. Gomaespuma parecía. Y para la calidad del jamón que ponéis habría que preocuparse más por el pan. Aunque en Denia es verdad que el pan en general es de panificadora. Creo que habría que buscar a un proveedor que sea de mayor calidad.
Igualmente los bocadillos tiene combinaciones que me gustan mucho, lo único es el pan.

Unos tomates espectaculares, buenos boquerones y las mejores manitas de cerdo que he comido en años! Gente joven al frente y al servicio y muy amables.
